Keller and I are about to go to Coffee and Chocolate one last time before graduation. She’s writing a paper and I’m done for the semester (hence the bored-out-of-my-mind face in the above picture). Hopefully, Keller will allow me to take pictures during our outing and we will try to keep you updated in the next few weeks.
We graduate in 16 days WHAAAAAAAT?
Melon’s separate tumblr. Do it. Now. Follow. Now
I post way more on this than our joint tumblr. Sooo follow me. k. bye. -Melon
I told Keller if she were to be a Disney princess, she would be Ariel, because she can never think of the word for anything. So here ya go, Ariel.
..and time for me to give an update (because Melon yelled at me.. she’s a meanie).
MY LIFE IS CRAZY.
Okay not really. It’s actually really chill. But lots of stuff is happening, things that make me oober excited (and nervous). Ready for me to tell you about them (even though no one and is reading this and probably doesn’t care)? READY. SET. GO.
FIRST. I’m going to be an aunt in May. WHICH IS AWESOME. I’m gunna be the coolest Aunt ever, fo realz. But really.. I want to be considered the “cool” aunt. If anyone has tips.. lemme know. ;) His name is Fisher. He’s gunna be a boss.
SECOND. I’m graduating in May. WHAT THE HECK. But I’m pumped, because I actually have plans for my future.. like a job.
THIRD. A JOB? Yup. I got a 2 year internship with RUF!! WOOO HOOOO. This is what I’m DEFINITELY both excited and nervous about. I already know where I was placed, but I’m technically not supposed to know yet. So I gotta keep it on the DL for a little while. But apparently, I’m going to a college that has one of the biggest RUF’s (scary). I’m really pumped to see what God has in store for me there. It’s gunna be amazing getting to dive into relationships with people, talk about Jesus on the daily, and grow a TON spiritually.
It’s going to be interesting raising support this summer, though. I basically have to raise my own income for the next year. So.. that’ll be tough, but rewarding!
FOURTH. Spring Break starts NOOOOOOOOOOWWW. I leave in the a.m. to head to Memphis for the weekend. I can’t wait to see my parentals, as well as my oldest sis and bro-in-law, and give them huge hugs. I haven’t been home since Christmas, so being there for a bit will be WONDERFUL. Then, I’ll be heading to Nashville Monday and staying the night there. That’s when I’ll get to see and hug my middle sis and bro-in-law, as well as see my sis’ growing belly (and weird belly button that she keeps talking about).
Tuesday morning is when the REAL fun starts. My boo will be picking me up bright and early Tuesday morning to head to his hometown (Cincinnati, Ohio). I’ve never been to Cincinnati, so that’ll be cool. Apparently we are just going to eat the whole time, which I’m totally okay with.. and good at doing. ANND.. here’s the kicker.. I’M GOING TO BE MEETING HIS FAMILY FOR THE FIRST TIME. I’m soooooo excited and once again, nervous. But I know it’ll be great. :D
FIFTH. I don’t think I have anything else. 5 is just my favorite number.. so I wanted to end here. :)
Sorry for boring everyone to death. If anyone actually read through this whole thing.. I love you.

This was in November (Parker was 1 month old) and she learned how to Dougie.
Okay, I swear I’m done posting pics and videos of the kid. She’s just so darn cute.

Oh and if you didn’t see this on facebook, my cousin and I teach PJ a different dance every time we her. This time…The Wobble
We need to update because our senior year is almost over, and well uh….we never update our blog about senior year.
School is insanely busy for both Keller and me. I am constantly writing lesson plans, working booths for social projects, and doing my observations at the local middle schools:

( That’s me working the Stop the R-Word booth last week. I look like a boy.)
I just finished up my 15 hours at Bearden Middle School and will be starting at Powell Middle School after Spring Break. I absolutely loved my time at BMS, and I was very, very sad to leave. My mentor taught me so much, and I hope I’m lucky enough to teach there in the fall during my internship year. My grades are lovely right now and I’m not at all worried, which is nice, but I am developing some very serious Senioritis and have been procrastinating even more than usual.
Keller and I were discussing how we are never in Knoxville on the weekends and it’s very true. I’m either always in Memphis, or visiting my family in Charlotte. It seems as if I’m only in Knoxville one weekend a month. Keller is either in Birmingham, Nashville, or Memphis. It’s craaazy.
Last weekend, I went to North Carolina to visit my cousin, Chad, his wife, Brooke, and their 5 month old, Parker Jean. It was his 29th birthday and I hadn’t seen them since Christmas. I always love going up there to visit. My Aunt Connie and my cousin Stone (Chad’s mom and brother) came and stayed with me on Thursday and then we headed to North Carolina the next morning. We had a blast. Here’s some pics:

(here’s a pic from 2011 Spring break trip to NC and the 2012 trip to NC. Not much has changed)

(Teething babies really like scarves)

(He kicked my butt)

Parker Jean having cereal for the first time :D
Well that’s enough about me.
Keller is insanely busy this week at school with 3 exams, so she will try to update this weekend, but she also has a super busy Spring Break. So just know, she’s alive, doing well, and is gonna be an aunt in about 10 weeks. CONGRATS ROBIN AND BRENT !!!

Alright doods, I thought maybe I should update something about my life considering I rarely put anything on here.
I had an interview today in Chattanooga, which went AWWWEESSOOOMMMMEE. I have the job, I just needed to be interviewed to make sure I’m not crazy and to get a feel for my personality. I’m doing an internship through RUF (Reformed University Fellowship). It’s a 2 year deal.. and sounds absolutely amazing. I’m pumped! :)
Here’s the catch.. I have no idea/no control over where I’ll be placed. I basically can end up at any university in the U.S. that has RUF on their campus. So that part is slightly terrifying, but still exciting at the same time.
I find out my placement sometime during March.. we shall seeeeeeeeee.
